Asteroids in Canvas

This game is written entirely in javascript using the canvas element and some basic primitives. It's very similar to Asteroids.

Move: mouse, arrow keys

Shoot: B, mouse button

Thrust: Spacebar

You are invincible as long as there is a circle around your ship. Use it wisely!

Restart the game by reloading the page.

Good luck to all of you with a touchpad - it will work but it will be very difficult to steer.

Due to a problem with the way windows & javascript handle keydown events, some players may find that it is more effective to quickly 'tap' keys instead of holding them down.
