I´m surprised, too. On Monday I can buy a new supply with 12v3a.

If the new supply does not solve the problem, is it possible to replace
something?

Today I used two new different USB cables. But there are still mid-print disconnects.
It seems that the arduiono has a crash at when disconnecting happens. Nothing will work
then, so that I have to start the machine from new. Then I also have to “Find home” again.
But the home position is at another place as before (difference about 3 cm).

The Button:
With pressing the button for reaching the menu I sometimes get access to the menu.
But as soon as I rotate it for navigation, I´m out of the menu! The power LED of the
arduino board blinks and it starts from new. So I can´t choose other menu items.
There´s a disfunction by rotating the button.

Replacing the display will not solve the problem, I guess. I have to replace the curcuit board
with the button, too.

Is there an equal circuit board with button and a display, that I can buy in Germany?
Will you send me a new one?

I have updated to the latest firmware, but it does not help: I can´t access the menu.

So I can´t work with the SD-Card. Drawing via USB interrupts again and again. What should I do?

With USB home position is correctly, but not the drawing:
– it interrupts
– and it is condensed

What material do you use for fixing the pen holder at the left and right corner?
Is this a shirr?

ok. What could I do? With SD-Card Makelangelo 3.2 wobbles at the beginning and
the drawing is not at the right place when it begins after wobbling. Also the
drawings are condensed. It sould be wider.

With USB-Connection the drawing stops. – And it is also condensed.

Mr. Makelangelo does not like to work for me. What shall we do?

The Pulleys are tightly attached to the stepper motors and they
have 20 teeth. – No monsters.

With the orginal mount for the water bottles the belts have always
been skipping. Therefore I have bought two bearings that I use instead
of the wooden mounts. With the bearings there is almost no skipping.
But I say almost, because they are still skipping when the pen holder
is near to one of the corner.

First I used the wood-parts for the waterbottles (100 ml).
But there was too much friction.

So I buyed two ball bearings and fixed them with wire at the
bottles. – Perfect! Now it works.

In each bottle I have 100 ml water and I used the configuration paper.
Do I need some weight at the pencil unit?

… I installed the Arduino-driver (Win 7) and some of the things are working now:

– the device (Arduino) is now listed in the Windows Device Manager (without exclamation mark)
– In the bottom line of the software I tipped in: UID 1 (now I can choose ID 1 in the Software
and the device is no longer “-1”
– “Popular Driving Commands” and “Animation control” are no longer “grey”

But not everything works:
– the drawing is not right (it is displaced and the lines are sometimes like stairs)

Does anyone know this problem? What can I do?

Hi Dan,

today I tried it again. Now Windows 7 shows the message:
“Device driver cannot be installed. Contact the Manufacturer
to get help for installation. – Unknown device”.

Is there a (windows-)driver for the device? Please, could you help
me?

I tried also with NGC-File, but it does not work. It hangs at 0.11%, but
it does not start to draw.

In the display (Youtube-Video) you can see #-1

In another posting I read something about “#-1”. – So, my PC is on the internet,
but I can´t get a new UID. It stays always at #-1.

In the Software, I can´t choose “Popular Driving Commands”. Also it´s not possible
to choose “Animation control”. The buttons are “grey”.

Obviously, the original power supply was damaged.

Power Supply 12v2a, NEMA 1-15 ungrounded

What shall we do? I suggest that I buy one in Germany and you transfer the money
for the broken power supply. You agree?
