Dan,
If you go here:
https://github.com/MarginallyClever/Rotary-Stewart-Platform-2-firmwareScroll down the README.txt that is displayed by default.
A couple of the links are broken, for example: Buy one today, which does bring you to the store, but not to this stewart platform:
http://www.marginallyclever.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=74
And:
Our helpful website has all the explanation and pictures to guide you along is 404 (this used to have a lot of great info):
http://learn.marginallyclever.com/index.php/Stewart_Platform_2I think I am all set, but I thought you might want to know for others who find your stuff useful. Thanks for sharing, BTW.
Thanks,
-Kevin
KevinParticipantI just found https://www.marginallyclever.com/2013/03/miniature-rotary-stewart-platform-demo/, which answered my question – the answer is yes. I have to note that a lot of references have “gone missing” over the years, especially the build instructions, for using the rumba board, wiring, etc. that used to be here (on the Readme.txt file in github): http://learn.marginallyclever.com/index.php/Stewart_Platform_2.
I can’t tell if the EEPROM section of the code does anything since I have the rumba board, and I am a bit perplexed about why the R60 command – R60 [Aa] [Bb] [Cc] [Dd] [Ed] (set sensors adjustment to new value [abcde]) only has 5 parameters instead of 6.Thanks

More than a little frustrated with the driver chips. I have bought more than a dozen now, and I have two that actually work out of the lot. The entire batch of TMC2208 chips I got today, not a single one worked. The platform I am making is quite huge – a project I was hoping to use to show scouts some engineering skills – now a year later, and quite frankly all due to problems with getting a stepper motor to work with a rumba board.

I have been using the code as a starting point for my stewart platform that uses linear (screw-driven) drives. It took me a while to find this reference, as all of the instructions point to the same place, which happens to be 404. Thanks for posting your code, and doing so much for the robotic community!
