Push the scroll button on the lcd to start a drawing

I have built a polargraph that works very well. no I have built a Zarplotter and it works very well but it starts the drawing as soon I select start in the makelangelo software. On the Polargraph I need to push the scoll button on the lcd for the machine to start drawing. I there a way to make the Zarplotter to have this function. I would like it to work so when I push the scoll button on the Zarplotter the machine start drawing.
