Some great contributors have been making interesting unpublicized mods to Makelangelo firmware, so I feel it’s time to start putting them out in public and talking about the next generation of Makelangelo. What is on your want list?

Miguel Sanchez has been working with a Wemos and a CNC Shield to create a Makelangelo that has Wifi support. He’s suggested

Arduino CNC Shield – 100% GRBL Compatable

Which would mean wifi, micro SD, AND faster processing for smoother operation. Combined with 1/256 microstepping we could get some very fine motion control.
