    Hi there…7.11.0 on Mac shows an empty USB menu when trying to connect. Tried on two different Macs running different OS versions (Mavericks and High Sierra) and Java…same. Any ideas? Thanks. Marc

    Does the USB port show up when you use the Arduino app? that will tell us if it’s the software or the hardware.

    Yes it does…no problem uploading the firmware.

    Hm. I normally test from my mac laptop and have no trouble. I will schedule time later today to run a test on our new setup:

    For me I still can’t connect with Makelangelo-7.21.0-with-dependencies.jar

    In Arduino it shows up just fine and I can upload the firmware etc.

    Check your mac security permissions?
