This should fix some usability issues. In order to get this fix out quickly the “register to turn off signature” option has not yet been added. Please post your feedback and issues in this thread.
2015-10-30 at 16:47 #7233AnonymousInactiveWo’nt run. At first error was cant start jarfile Makelangelo. Found that was a problem in bat file looking for that file, so I changed the name of the beta file to makelangelo.jar starts to show jpg of machine then just quits. Did same with jar file with dependencies and still nothing.
2015-10-30 at 18:00 #7234AnonymousInactiveadd @pause to the end of your bat file and paste the results here, please.
2015-10-30 at 20:47 #7235AnonymousInactiveThis is error renamed the jar with dependencies
Here is error the without dependencies
2015-10-30 at 21:04 #7236EdmondsLibrarianParticipantI think mine is exactly the same with a Windows 7 machine.

(I also have an Arduino probelm getting the frimware to run, so these results might be less than valid.)
PS- I hope to learn how to get my pictures embedded in posts…2015-10-30 at 23:36 #7237AnonymousInactivecan you run “java -version” on the command line and post the results, please?
We think it’s 32 bit java installed on a 64 bit system.2015-10-30 at 23:51 #7238EdmondsLibrarianParticipantMy Windows 7
1.7.0_55
build 1.7.0_55-h14
Java HotSpot Client
Hope that’s a good hint. (I certainly can’t use it. 🙂 )2015-10-31 at 02:37 #7239AnonymousInactiveI am running Windows 7 Home Prem 32 bit
Here is the java error with version #2015-10-31 at 19:08 #7240AnonymousInactiveRight now my best guesses are:
a) you have to run with dependencies or you’ll get the gluegen error
b) you’re mixing 32 bit software and 64 bit hardware, or vice versa, Java isn’t smart enough to load the correct dependencies, then gives up.
I’m confirming now with the guys who make the gluegen library.
2015-10-31 at 19:43 #7241AnonymousInactiveSo it seems we’re building a JAR file meant for everyone, but the OpengGL (gluegen) library names all their 32bit and 64bit libraries the same. When it puts them all in the JAR together the 64 bit libraries go last and *write over the 32bit libraries*. I’m looking into this further.
2015-10-31 at 20:07 #7242AnonymousInactiveSo if I use a 64 bit OS should I have 64 bit Java? Can 32 bit java also be installed on that same machine or no.
Right now I am am using a 32 OS and 32 bit Java
2015-10-31 at 21:55 #7243AnonymousInactiveJust posted a new version, *should* fix the issue. please try it.
2015-11-01 at 03:00 #7244EdmondsLibrarianParticipantNot sure if this is the new firmware, or the Makelangelo software- but Arduino doesn’t compile.
Makelangelo asks for language preference then goes blank
Win 7 Downloaded Newest version for Oct 31Screenshot of Arduino Compiling

2015-11-02 at 20:53 #7245AnonymousInactiveCould you give me the link to version 6
Thanks
2015-11-02 at 21:47 #7246AnonymousInactive2015-11-02 at 23:01 #7247AnonymousInactiveYes that works I can adjust machine and paper size. So somewhere in 7.2.1 or 7.2.2 something is incorrect. Hope you can find the problem. Thanks
