This should fix some usability issues. In order to get this fix out quickly the “register to turn off signature” option has not yet been added.

Please post your feedback and issues in this thread.

Wo’nt run. At first error was cant start jarfile Makelangelo. Found that was a problem in bat file looking for that file, so I changed the name of the beta file to makelangelo.jar starts to show jpg of machine then just quits. Did same with jar file with dependencies and still nothing.

I think mine is exactly the same with a Windows 7 machine.

(I also have an Arduino probelm getting the frimware to run, so these results might be less than valid.)
PS- I hope to learn how to get my pictures embedded in posts…

can you run “java -version” on the command line and post the results, please?
We think it’s 32 bit java installed on a 64 bit system.

    My Windows 7
    1.7.0_55
    build 1.7.0_55-h14
    Java HotSpot Client
    Hope that’s a good hint. (I certainly can’t use it. 🙂 )

Right now my best guesses are:

    a) you have to run with dependencies or you’ll get the gluegen error

    b) you’re mixing 32 bit software and 64 bit hardware, or vice versa, Java isn’t smart enough to load the correct dependencies, then gives up.

I’m confirming now with the guys who make the gluegen library.

So it seems we’re building a JAR file meant for everyone, but the OpengGL (gluegen) library names all their 32bit and 64bit libraries the same. When it puts them all in the JAR together the 64 bit libraries go last and *write over the 32bit libraries*. I’m looking into this further.

So if I use a 64 bit OS should I have 64 bit Java? Can 32 bit java also be installed on that same machine or no.

Right now I am am using a 32 OS and 32 bit Java

Not sure if this is the new firmware, or the Makelangelo software- but Arduino doesn’t compile.
Makelangelo asks for language preference then goes blank

EDIT- This is also the same result with the new download today on my Win 8 machine. (The Makelangelo software shows the picture, the command code, then disappears without asking for a language preference)

Yes that works I can adjust machine and paper size. So somewhere in 7.2.1 or 7.2.2 something is incorrect. Hope you can find the problem. Thanks
