Makelangelo MEGA + RAMPS + LCD stepper motors not moving

Hey there,

I’m using a Mega 2650 + RAMPS 1.4 + Reprapdiscount Smart Controller

So far everything seems to be connected right. When starting it up I get the correct menu shown in the display + I can move the servo by selecting “Pen Up” & “Pen Down”.

But I can’t get the stepper motors to work.

I’ve correctly set the jumpers on my RAMPS to match the settings in the firmware (1/32 micro step) according to my stepper drivers (DRV 8825). Motors are normal Nema 17 with 1.8 degrees per step (also set correctly in the firmware.

Tried to “enable” steppers etc.

Am I missing something?!

Did you change the firmware to 1/32? I believe by default it’s 1/16.
