    Hi,

I just downloaded Makelangelo software on this page : http://learn.marginallyclever.com/index.php/Makelangelo_2_Software “Latest official version”.
    I am running Windows 10.
    Software works fine.

I imported a picture, and applied Zig Zag filter. The picture is 1080 x 1920.
However the zig zag is VERY low res. I dont even recognize the edges of my pic.

I found this : https://www.marginallyclever.com/2013/04/makelangelo-update-higher-resolution-images/ which looks like my very solution.
But, I am not able to find this option in “Settings”…
    I have :
Makelangelo > Preferences > Sounds, Graphic or Language
    Or
Settings > Adjust Machine and Paper size, Adjust Pulley size, Jog motors, Select Active tool, and Adjust Active tool

    Any tip ?
    Thanks again !

Yes is there a way to increase the resolution?

7.3 seems to load fine much better then 7.2

Zig Zag does not offer any resolution options. The original image is dithered to an UNKNOWN number of points which are then connected with the shortest possible line (that can be found in a reasonable amount of time).

Zig Zag 2 offers total # of points and number of generations to jiggle the points into place. It then uses iterative voronoi stippling over the image to jiggle a KNOWN number of points into place before playing connect the dots.

So for better results use the newer Zig Zag. The only one has been kept for… curiosity? Comparison?
