i need help calibrating my makelangelo. it doesnt connect correctly.
what kind of pictures do you usually draw on there?
What do you mean, “it doesn’t connect correctly”?
I draw all kinds of stuff.

my pictures come out shifted. in the beginning they come out good but it starts to shift everything up wants it gets to the end.
what is the weight on each side of the strings
the smaller the picture the better the drawing but once i expand it becomes warped.

im just trying to draw simple things. using the zig zag pattern. here is another example of it not connecting correctly

I think this is another effect of the “one motor not holding” issue that was addressed in the other thread. I was seeing an issue a bit like this before I changed to using an earlier version of the Arduino firmware.
You could try the Arduino FW from https://www.marginallyclever.com/other/Makelangelo.zip (Windows)
It needs Arduino v 1.0.x to upload it to the Arduino board.
Worked a treat for me.
