Can´t change HAS_LCD option

Hi!
I´m struggling with “waiting for user input” line, M226 command, code won´t advance, the machine gets stucked there. I´ve found in other post that that belongs to a machine with LCD pannel and Dan suggests undefining HAS_LCD from the firmware. I was not able to undefine or comment the few lines that have the HAS_LCD command having a positive result. If anyone can give me a more detailed explanation i´ll be more than greatfull.
(I´m using a ramps version).Cheers
