I have plans for several large scale art robots. I want to know which one excites you the most.
First off is a Jansen walker for a summer festival called Otherworld. It would walk itself up and down the beach. On the last night of the festival it would be burned. This means it must be all wood or metal, the metal being recycled later. To make changing directions easy, it needs a clutch.
Second is building SPIDEE-2, a larger version of my original crab robot.
Here is a simulation someone made that matches my vision, using existing hydraulic backhoe arms as the legs for this machine.
So do either of these grab your fancy?
