Video of Dan talking to Anarchists about 3D printers
I didn’t know this video existed until my mother found it online. This talk was at the Railway Club in Vancouver, Canada, some time in early 2013.

This weekend I completed adding acceleration to the Rotary Stewart Platform 2. I’ve also added G92 support.
Now all Marginally Clever robots support the same basic firmware. The biggest difference is in the inverse kinematics, the part that turns “go here” into “move this many steps on these motors”.
Just like the Makelangelo and the Delta3 before it, Arm3 now supports acceleration for faster movement without missing a step. We will be rolling out the change for the Stewart Platform in the near future. All customers will need to update the firmware on each machine. The firmware for each machine is available through the store’s product page.
Last night I got great feedback from @MelissaLaforge about the Makelangelo assembly instructions and added this picture of the pen holder:
I want to help you learn. I love your feedback. Keep it coming!
Special thanks to @Hugobiwan who tweeted this nice pic of his DIY Makelangelo drawing France on glass.
