A working 2-axis CNC with GcodeCNCDemo and GCodeSender

Pablo sends word that he’s used some of our open source code to build a 2-axis drawing machine.  Read on for details and a video.

Pablo says,  “I am documenting how to build a simple structure for a 2 axis CNC. I’ve used 2 DVD-ROM drives for the stepper motors (I’m assuming about 23 steps/revolution). The motor driver is adafruit motorshield . It uses H-bridge for steppers so it’s not supported by grbl directly. You ‘ll need other software to communicate the CAM software with arduino.”

That software is Gcodecncdemo (on the arduino) and Gcodesender (on the PC).

Nice work! Can you convert pictures in the Makelangelo software and draw them on your robot?
