New product: Bearings!

Today I’m happy to announce that we’re now stocking three kinds of bearings to help you solve your mechanical challenges.

MECH-0049 Rollerskate bearings are great for keeping all your belts and pulleys moving smoothly. Plus the power of mass production for sports equipment has brought their price way way down. These are also known as 608 bearings.

MECH-0038 Thrust bearing and MECH-0039 Thrust bearing are great for creating rotating movement that is really really precise. We use them both in Malcolm Pan/Tilt robot to great effect and we’ve got plans to put them in even more creations. We have them in two different sizes so you can find the best fit for your needs.

Thrust bearings are designed to take different kinds of forces than skate bearings. Apply as necessary and enjoy!
