Mission Statement Updated: Raising Robot Literacy

I used to joke that “robots will take all the jobs in 30 years. Understanding robots will give your kids the most job security.” I had shortened that to “It’s job security” in the blog sub-title. Over time I grew uncomfortable with the way it could be misinterpreted to mean we were only focussed on our job security. What I really want is to raise the average understanding of robots so that I can talk to more people about robots and what we can do with them – like, say, go to the moon. So today I changed the sub-title to “Raising Robot Literacy”. I hope this communicates our intent more clearly.
