Testing Makelangelo Venti Spray Paint Art Robot Nozzle

The Makelangelo is our internationally reknown picture drawing robot. People asked us to go big so that’s what we’re working on – making a giant version to spray paint murals. This test model will be able to cover about 4m * 4m if everything goes according to plan.

The robot uses all the same electronics as the smaller model with timing belts, sprockets, and counterweights to handle the increased weight of the pen holder. The frame is made from birch parts designed and made in-house on our laser cutter.
